On June 13th, P2140.4 and P2140.5, two blockchain standards proposed by Ontology, one for Distributed/Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Framework using DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) and another for Custodian Framework of Cryptocurrency, were approved unanimously at the 2nd IEEE SA Standards Board Meeting in Panama City. Hu Ning, Senior Architecture Expert at Ontology, said that “distributed ledger technology makes it possible to integrate crypto financial derivatives into DEX, while custodian framework of cryptocurrency manages assets for crypto holders and supports DeFi derivatives.”
